UNYX
The Google Ads modules

Are your campaigns producing useful contacts, or just volume?

Two campaigns can deliver the same number of contacts for the same budget and not be worth the same. One fills the sales calendar, the other fills the bin. Cost per lead does not tell you which.

Why this happens

  • A very short form attracts impulsive enquiries, easy to fill in and hard to reach afterwards.
  • An over-broad promise on the landing page brings people out of area or out of budget.
  • Some queries attract browsers, others buyers, and they rarely cost the same.
  • Optimising on cost per lead mechanically pushes towards the cheapest contacts, so often the least qualified.

How to check it yourself

These checks are done directly in your Google Ads account, with no tool at all.

  1. 1Out of 50 recent enquiries, count how many you actually managed to reach.
  2. 2Sort those contacts by campaign of origin: the gap in reachability usually jumps out.
  3. 3Work out a cost per qualified contact, not just a cost per contact.
  4. 4Look at the landing page: a single page can concentrate the out-of-area enquiries.
What UNYX does

UNYX connects the quality of your contacts to the ad, the search term and the page that produced them, using your own qualification criteria. You then decide on the useful lead, not the raw one.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a qualified lead?

You define that: reachable, in your area, with a real project and a realistic budget. UNYX does not substitute its criteria for yours, it applies yours to your campaigns.

Should you cut the campaign producing the least qualified leads?

Not always. Sometimes clarifying the promise or the service area on the landing page, or adding one field to the form, is enough for the same campaign to produce far better contacts.
