UNYX
The Google Ads modules

Are you paying for clicks that do not come from customers?

Some of the clicks you are billed for do not come from potential customers: bots, abnormal repetition, automated behaviour. Google filters part of it, but nothing in the interface tells you what is left.

Why this happens

  • Poorly identified crawlers click on the ads.
  • A competitor or a supplier checks your ads regularly without ever buying.
  • Low-quality traffic sources on the Display network generate accidental clicks.
  • The same address comes back abnormally often over a short period.

How to check it yourself

These checks are done directly in your Google Ads account, with no tool at all.

  1. 1Compare the clicks billed by Google with the sessions recorded by your analytics: a lasting gap deserves attention.
  2. 2Look at the share of sessions lasting a second or less: they match no real intent.
  3. 3Spot click spikes at hours that make no sense for your business.
  4. 4On the Display network, examine the placements that concentrate clicks with no interaction afterwards.
What UNYX does

This module is in preparation: it requires traffic collection on your website, unlike the modules that rely solely on Google Ads data. We will only offer it once that collection genuinely exists.

Frequently asked questions

Does Google refund invalid clicks?

Yes, Google filters part of the clicks it judges invalid and deducts them from billing. The blind spot is what that filtering does not catch, and that nothing shows you.

Should suspicious addresses be excluded?

Carefully. One address can be shared by an entire company, and excluding it means turning away potential customers. That decision is made after review, never automatically.

Other common Google Ads questions

Every check described here can be done without UNYX. The modules exist so you no longer have to do them by hand.
