Many agency websites never say who runs them. You find a "we", a contact address, sometimes a city. That is fine as long as everything goes well, and it becomes a problem the day you need to know who you contracted with.

These details appear on the site's legal notice page and can be cross-checked in two minutes on the French public company register, using the SIREN number alone.

Who does what

Michaël Chiche is the manager, and he is also the person you work with: framing, decisions, follow up. There is no salesperson selling a project to a project manager who hands it to an executor. It is a choice, with its advantages and its limits, and we go into them in the article on team size.

What it changes for you

A registered company with a named manager carries liability. You know who signs the contract, who is the data controller under European data protection rules, and whom to send a formal notice to if things go wrong. That is the bare minimum, and the bare minimum is not always met in this market: many automation offers are carried by unregistered individuals, or by structures based outside the European Union.

A provider you cannot identify is a provider you cannot hold to account.
